HEALTH stands for Home Equipment Age, Lifecycle & Tune-up History. When you take your car in for an oil change, they hand you a sheet with everything marked green, yellow, or red. Nobody pays for that sheet. We think your house deserves the same thing.

Our Services
Light Bulb Replacement
Any bulb, any height, any fixture. We carry A19, BR30, PAR38, GU10, MR16, candelabra, globes, and vintage Edison on the truck. We install to your room's recommended color temperature — warm in bedrooms, cool white in kitchens and baths, daylight in workshops.
Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarms
Every alarm has an expiration date most people have never looked at. Minnesota requires a working CO alarm within ten feet of every sleeping room (Minnesota Statute 299F.51). The State Fire Marshal recommends replacing smoke alarms after ten years; CO alarms last five to seven years. We check the date on every alarm in every home we enter.
GFCI & AFCI Protection
Ground-fault protection is required in kitchens, bathrooms, garages, laundry areas, and outdoors. Since the 2020 code, every basement receptacle requires it. Minnesota adopted the 2026 National Electrical Code effective August 17, 2026 — arc-fault protection is now required on all branch circuits, including areas previously exempt.
Panel Labeling
We trace every circuit, pull every faceplate, and put an adhesive circuit label behind each receptacle and switch, plus a printed master sheet mounted inside your panel. $37.25 per breaker — a typical 20-circuit home runs about $765.
Switches, Outlets & Fixtures
Cracked faceplates, painted-over switches, two-prong ungrounded receptacles, dimmers, smart switches, and fixture replacement — all performed by a licensed electrician, under permit where required.

Lifetime bulb warranty
Any bulb we install is covered for as long as your membership stays active. If it dies, we replace it free — no trip fee, no argument. Every bulb gets a colored dot and a date code so we can verify from the top of the ladder in about five seconds.
One trip fee waived per year
One standard $130 trip fee waived every membership year, starting the first day you join.
No bulb warranty without membership
We'd rather tell you that up front than let you find out later. That's the deal, stated plainly.
Why we bill annually
Monthly billing turns a relationship into a coupon — someone uses the waived visit and cancels the next month. Paying for the year means we're holding a real obligation to you for twelve months, which is the arrangement we actually want to be in.

Do I have to be home?
No, but we'd like for you to be accessible through phone/text if need be.
Can a handyman do this?
For bulbs, yes. For a GFCI, switch, outlet, or fixture — no. Minnesota law requires a licensed electrical contractor for that work, and only a licensed contractor can pull the permit. That's the statute, not a preference.
Do you pull permits?
Always, when the work requires one. No exceptions, no favors, no shortcuts. The permit protects you, not us.
What if I only need one bulb changed?
That's a completely normal call. $19.99 for your first visit plus the cost of the bulb.
Why is my basement outlet a problem?
